$ESP @espressoFNDN @EspressoSys #espresso @Bantr_fun Yesterday I researched Espresso Network, and what it does is quite interesting; it essentially sets up a "delivery station" for rollups (Layer 2 scaling solutions). What is the biggest pain point of rollups now? Each one acts independently, and it takes more than ten minutes to transfer funds to each other, which is similar to the experience from ten years ago. Espresso aims to solve this problem by allowing rollups to confirm transactions in just 6 seconds, eliminating the need to wait for Ethereum's long finality. Its core is a shared sequencer that uses BFT consensus to process all rollup transaction batches, preventing MEV attacks while ensuring order consistency. In simple terms, it allows multiple chains to operate as if they were a single chain, and it has already integrated with more than 10 rollups, including RARI Chain and LogX. The smart thing is that it does not force rollups to use the full set of services; you can just use the confirmation layer and choose other infrastructure yourself. This significantly lowers the integration threshold, and rollup operators are more willing to try it. The TGE for the $ESP token is coming soon, and they have organized a "Path to TGE" event for airdrop warm-up, announcing new qualification paths every day. From what I can see, the coverage is quite broad, including various rollup users, holders of partner projects, and so on, with millions of wallets potentially qualifying. In fact, this direction is very much like completing the last piece of the rollup ecosystem puzzle, as the current DeFi cross-chain experience is indeed too fragmented. If atomic-level composability between rollups can truly be achieved, it would be quite significant for the entire Ethereum ecosystem. But to be honest, the success of such infrastructure projects largely depends on whether they can truly be utilized by developers.
