We Are Planting 3 Memorial Forests with 15,000 Saplings

This year, devastating wildfires across our country have destroyed thousands of hectares of forest, leaving a deep mark on all of us. In an effort to help restore our damaged environment, Gate TR has partnered with the TEMA Foundation to plant a total of 15,000 saplings across three different provinces. We are taking responsibility for our future and working to leave a greener, more livable Turkey for the next generations.

As part of the project, memorial forests will be established in the Bursa Eğerce, Konya Soğucak, and Balıkesir Kumlu reforestation areas through TEMA Foundation’s coordination.

A Gate TR Memorial Forest will be planted with 10,000 saplings in the Bursa Eğerce Reforestation Area on behalf of all Gate TR users—becoming a lasting symbol of our long-term commitment to Turkey.

In honor of Gate TR Board Representative Dr. Lin Han, who continues to stand by the Turkish crypto community, 2,500 saplings will be planted in the Konya Soğucak Reforestation Area, forming the Dr. Lin Han Memorial Forest.

To honor the memory of the heroic forest workers who lost their lives while bravely fighting wildfires, we will plant another 2,500 saplings in the Balıkesir Kumlu Reforestation Area, creating the Forest Fire Martyrs Memorial Forest.

We will continue to transparently share updates with our community regarding the afforestation efforts and the progress made thereafter.
