Metis Token plans to achieve full Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) equivalence by the third quarter. The implementation of decentralized sequencers anchored to Ethereum is also anticipated, and it seeks to improve decentralization and interoperability within the platform.

On May 1 at 3:30 PM UTC, Metis and The Graph will hold a technical livestream workshop for developers. The session will focus on using subgraphs and the Graph Protocol to index and query on-chain data—an essential skill for building scalable dApps on Metis. Speakers include Nidhi Nakrani (Metis) and Marcus Rein (The Graph). The session will be streamed on MetisL2’s official X and YouTube channels.

Metis Token will host a workshop on X on April 17th at 4 PM UTC. This hands-on session provides a relaxed environment for developers to discuss important topics and will be hosted by the Metis DevRel team, including Pavel Sinelnikov and Nidhi Nakrani.

Metis is holding the next session in its developer education series, “Intro to Prompt Engineering”, on April 10 at 4 PM UTC. The workshop will guide participants through the fundamentals of effective prompt creation for LLMs, including best practices for zero-shot, few-shot, and role-based prompting, as well as how to build smarter AI workflows. The session will be led by Metis DevRel members Victor Muñoz and Nidhi Nakrani, with support from 0xQuantic and 0xPabli.

Metis will host a BUIDL Hour event on X Space this Wednesday, April 9, at 10:00 UTC, featuring guests from Coiniseasy, Akindo, and 0xQuantic. The session will highlight upcoming activities and plans for the Metis ecosystem in Japan and South Korea.
