Metaverse:
The term metaverse was coined in the science fiction novel Snow Crash published by American writer Neal Stephenson in 1992. “Metaverse” is made up of two parts: “Meta”, which means “transcendent” and “Verse”, which means “universe”. Combining the two forms the word, "Metaverse". The metaverse describes a persistent and decentralized 3-D virtual environment.
People can enter the environment utilizing tools such as VR glasses, mobile phones, computers, and electronic game consoles. Cryptocurrency can play the role of transaction media, ownership certification, and digital collections in the Metaverse. Blockchain technology can also provide the Metaverse with an open, transparent, stable, and secure governance .
