On December 22, The US Securities Regulatory Commission rejected two Bitcoin spot ETFs

The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission vetoed two Bitcoin spot ETFs, Valkyrie Bitcoin Fund and Kryptoin Bitcoin ETF Trust, to offer bitcoin exchange-traded funds. The SEC stated that it was rejected because both of the proposals didn’t meet the standard of being designed to prevent fraudulent and manipulative acts and practices and to protect investors and the public interest.
