Similar to an Initial Coin Offering （IC0）, Initial Exchange Offering is a fundraising method for cryptocurrency projects when first listed on an exchange. The difference between an IEO and an ICO is that investors need to purchase crypto assets with the token issued by the exchange instead of the mainstream currencies.
