Difficulty Bomb
Difficulty Bomb: It refers to the increase of difficulty in the Ethereum mining process. This will result in slow production rates of the Ethereum block. Pressured by decreased rates of coin production, Ethereum will shift from Proof of Work （PoW）, which encourages races amongst miners, to Proof of Stake （PoS）, which encourages distributed coin ownership amongst miners.
