Binance Co-founder He Yi Clarifies No UID Collision, Confirms Turkey, Thailand, US Platforms Run Independent Account Systems

According to Binance co-founder He Yi on November 7, there is no UID collision issue affecting user accounts. Each Binance user holds a single unique UID. A user mistakenly transferred funds from Binance main platform to Binance Thailand by directly entering a UID instead of a proper withdrawal address, despite a two-step confirmation step. He Yi confirmed that she and four team members immediately froze the affected funds; however, recovery remains pending as the recipient account remains inactive and unresponsive.

He Yi stressed that Binance Turkey, Binance Thailand, Binance US, and other local fiat trading platforms operate as independent entities with separate account systems. She advised users to carefully verify wallet addresses and UIDs during transfers and withdrawals.
