According to X posts, Binance co-founder Yi He rejected OKX CEO Star Xu's UID collision claim on November 7, stating that every Binance user holds exactly one unique identifier and that the disputed transfer was sent to Binance Thailand, which operates a separate account system.
Star Xu argued that UIDs under a single brand must be globally unique or UID-only transfers should be blocked, warning that non-unique identifiers across regional platforms can cause deposits to reach the wrong account. Yi He responded by sharing a trader's warning against using OKX's decentralized exchange mode for tokens on BNB Chain, suggesting assets routed through that interface can become stranded.
