According to Economic Daily on November 6, Foxconn's cumulative revenue for the first 10 months reached 8.97 trillion NT dollars, a record high. Growth was driven by Apple new device shipments, personal computer sales, and component demand increases. Consumer electronics, computer terminals, and component businesses all showed double-digit monthly growth, while cloud and network businesses maintained high double-digit year-over-year growth despite monthly declines from supply adjustments and new platform transitions, reflecting strong AI demand.
Southern Electronics reported third-quarter operations at a three-year high, boosted by new-generation AI product adoption and tight substrate supply. The company announced a capital expenditure plan of 46.8 billion NT dollars to build advanced substrate factories. Intel, Nvidia, and AMD have reportedly paid over 100 billion NT dollars in advance deposits combined to secure long-term capacity from high-end substrate suppliers.
