Kraken Withdraws Coin-Purpose Inquiry for XMR, Maintains Trading

According to Arjun Sethi, Kraken has withdrawn its inquiry asking Monero (XMR) buyers about their employers, fund sources, and coin-holding purposes, reversing the policy as an error. Customers no longer need to provide such information. The exchange maintains source-of-funds verification and continues XMR trading. However, Kraken does not accept XMR deposits and restricts trading for users in the European Economic Area and UK, while barring deposits, holdings, and trading for Canadian and Australian users.
