According to Odaily, Stripe and Plasma have launched a stablecoin payment card service supporting transactions in USD, EUR, Brazilian Real, Mexican Peso, Colombian Peso, USDC, and OUSD. The service currently operates in 30+ countries and is targeting expansion to 100+ countries by 2027.

As of October 2026, Stripe's stablecoin card infrastructure processes approximately $1.2 billion in monthly transactions. Plasma, which operates the blockchain Plasma One and a neo-banking app designed for stablecoin transactions, will migrate its multi-currency accounts to Stripe's card infrastructure.
