XRP Ledger Activates BatchV1_1, Enabling Up to 8 Transactions per Batch on October 9

According to XRPL.org's security report, the XRP Ledger activated the BatchV1_1 amendment on October 9, 2026, allowing an account to submit between 2 and 8 transactions that the network executes as a single coordinated unit. The batch feature supports four execution modes: all-or-nothing (entire bundle succeeds only if all transactions succeed), first-success-only (applies only the first successful transaction), apply-until-failure, and independent processing. Each applied transaction is recorded separately on the ledger, removing sequencing risk from multi-step workflows such as paired asset transfers and settlements.
