AIGC Advertising Governance Whitepaper Released on Oct 24, Proposes Four-Category Risk Framework

According to China News Net, the AIGC-Era Internet Advertising Governance Whitepaper was officially released on Oct 24 during the 33rd China International Advertising Festival. The whitepaper categorizes AIGC advertising risks into four types—content violations, technical evasion, transaction chain issues, and emerging scenarios—and proposes governance recommendations across eight dimensions. Alibaba's Juliangyin platform reported that its multimodal AI model reviews 90% of ad creatives within 10 minutes, improving efficiency by 75%. The platform implements specialized protections for elderly users and minors, and suspends repeat offenders.

Liu Xiaochun, director of the Internet Governance Research Center at China University of Social Sciences, stated that advertisers bear primary responsibility for content authenticity and cannot disclaim liability by attributing content generation to AI.
