According to Moonshot AI, on October 24, the China-based company launched Kimi K3.1 Pro, an open-weight model with 3 trillion parameters and a 1 million-token context window, alongside Kimi K3.1 Pro Highspeed. Both models are now available on Kimi.ai and the company plans to release full model weights by November 4. On Terminal-Bench 4.0, K3.1 Pro scored 65.7%, compared with GPT-6 Astra's 58.2% and close to Claude Opus 5.5's 66.4%. Highspeed delivers 2x to 3x faster speed than K3.1 Pro.
