How to Protect Yourself from Phishing Attacks

Phishing is one of the most common and dangerous forms of digital fraud. It involves fake emails, SMS messages, or websites that appear to be from legitimate institutions. The goal is to trick you into sharing passwords, ID details, credit card numbers, or crypto wallet information. Sometimes these messages claim “suspicious activity on your account,” “you’ve won a prize,” or that you must “log in urgently” to create a sense of panic.
Phishing attacks pose a serious risk, especially for cryptocurrency users. With the stolen information, attackers can gain access to your account and steal your digital assets.
The best defense is to stay cautious, avoid unfamiliar links, and never share your personal information.

7 Golden Rules to Avoid Phishing

1. Don’t Click on Unofficial Links
Gate.TR will never ask for your private wallet keys or passwords. Always double-check the address before clicking links in emails or messages.
2. Verify the Domain Name
